My baby is 4 months old now and ive still got a lot of the pregnancy weight on me. Im breastfeeding so scared to diet too much. How did u mommies manage to get back in shape safely? Share ur tips pls.
From what I have read, after the doctor gives a go ahead, gentle walking and light postnatal yoga work really well. No heavy workouts too soon, especially after C-section. Always wait for that clearance first.
Realistically with a newborn you wont get gym time, so I focused on cutting sugary stuff and eating proper meals instead of snacking. Small walks with the baby in pram counted as my exercise. It adds up slowly.
I delivered 4 months back and honestly the weight comes off slowly, dont rush. I started with small walks once my doc cleared me and ate home food properly. Be patient with your body yaar, it just did something huge.
Breastfeeding actually helped me drop a fair bit naturally. But this is not the time for crash diets, you need good nourishment for milk. Eat well, move a little, and the rest happens gradually.
I totally understand the pressure to bounce back, I felt it too looking in the mirror. But please go easy on yourself. The weight took 9 months to come, give it time to go, you are doing great.
