Delivered 4 months back and i still have so much weight stuck around my tummy, none of my old clothes fit. Im breastfeeding so i dont want to do crash dieting or anything risky. How did u all manage to get back in shape?
Once ur doctor gives the green signal, start with simple walks and light postnatal yoga. Nothing intense early. Slow and steady stays off better than crash stuff anyway.
Be kind to yourself ok. I felt so much pressure to bounce back and it just made me sad. Ur body just made a whole baby. It comes off in time, please dont chase fast.
Breastfeeding honestly burnt a lot of it for me without trying. Eat well, dont starve, drink lots of water. Fast weight loss while feeding is not a good idea, the milk needs ur energy.
No such thing as fast and safe together after delivery. Both times mine came off by 8-9 months with normal eating, feeding and walking. Get a doctor okay before any real exercise.
Pls go slow especially if u had a c-section like me. The first few weeks are about healing, not losing weight. The kilos do come off slowly once u start moving and feeding. Dont rush ur body yaar.
Realistically with a newborn u wont have time for big workouts, so focus on food. Home cooked, less fried, walk when u can. It took me almost a year and that's normal, dont let anyone rush u.
