Delivered my baby 4 months back and the lower tummy is just not going. I know it takes time but honestly it bothers me when nothing fits. What worked for you mommies, walking or some diet thing?
If you had a c-section like me pls wait till the doctor says ok before any tummy exercises. I made the mistake of trying too early and felt the pull near my stitches. Healing first, fitness later.
Realistically you wont have much time, i didnt. I just walked while the baby napped and cut down on fried stuff. No crash diets, they mess up your energy when you already arent sleeping.
I delivered 4 months back and the tummy honestly takes time, dont rush. I started with short walks and basic breathing exercises once my doc cleared me at 6 weeks. The belly slowly tightens, be patient with your body na.
Beta in our time the dai used to do a belly binding with cloth after delivery, it does give some support. But ask your doctor if its ok for you. And ajwain water after meals helped my digestion, nothing harmful in that.
Once my gynac gave the green signal i started light core work and lots of walking. Post pregnancy the ab muscles separate a bit so dont jump into crunches, that can backfire. Start gentle.
One thing nobody tells you, breastfeeding itself helps burn a lot. My tummy reduced quite a bit just from feeding plus eating proper home food. Dont starve yourself if you are nursing.
Dont stress too much about the tummy, you just made a whole human yaar. It comes down slowly with walks and good food. Give yourself like a year before judging.
