How to lose weight after pregnancy without exercise?
I delivered a few months back and still have weight, but I am not able to exercise because baby keeps me busy and I feel tired. I dont want crash dieting also since I am feeding. What small changes helped you?
Please go easy on yourself, your body just did something huge. I lost most of it just by eating sensibly, sleeping when baby slept and not crash dieting. Dont rush, it comes off slowly.
Breastfeeding itself burned a surprising amount for me, the weight slowly came down without gym. Just eat clean home food, dont starve since you need energy to feed. It takes time, be patient with your body.
No time for gym with a newborn, totally get it. Portion control, less sugar and fried, lots of water and just walking around with baby does a lot. Realistically give it 6 months to a year.
Beta first few months are for healing, not dieting. Eat nourishing food, rest, feed baby. The weight settles down on its own with time, dont pressure yourself.
Diet matters more than exercise for weight anyway. Home cooked balanced meals, cut the extra sweets and snacks, stay hydrated. With both my kids it dropped over months without any workout.
