Im in my 5th month and have already put on quite a lot, my gynac said im on the higher side. I dont want to do anything risky obviously but is there a safe way to not gain so fast? what worked for u all?
I stayed active with walking and the prenatal yoga my doc cleared, but the goal was to stay fit not lose weight. Eating clean made me feel lighter without dieting. Always get your doctor okay before any exercise.
Pregnancy is not the time to actively lose weight yaar. The aim is healthy eating and gaining within the right range, not cutting down. If weight is a concern, your doc will tell you the safe target, dont diet on your own.
Because of my sugar I had to watch food closely, but that was about controlling, not losing weight. My dietician set a plan for me. Please dont restrict food without medical guidance during pregnancy, baby needs nutrition.
Honestly the right person to set any weight goal in pregnancy is your gynac. Focus on balanced meals and gentle movement. Trying to lose weight deliberately now can do more harm than good.
