How to lose weight in third trimester of pregnancy?
I have gained more than expected and now in 8th month I feel heavy and uncomfortable. I dont want to do anything risky, just wondering how others managed extra weight at this stage. Did your doc ask you to control anything?
Honestly third trimester is not the time to try and lose weight, baby is growing fast and needs nutrition. What you can do is eat clean, cut junk and sugar, stay active with gentle walks. Talk to your doc, they will guide on healthy ranges, dont diet on your own.
In my case I had to control weight gain because of sugar issues, so a dietician planned it, not me cutting food randomly. Please dont self diet in third trimester, get a proper plan that keeps both you and baby safe.
I was conscious about weight too but my doctor said dont focus on losing now, focus on not gaining unhealthy weight. Daily walk and prenatal yoga that she approved kept me feeling good without dieting. Movement over restriction.
Yaar dont stress about losing weight right now, baby needs the food. Just skip the fried and sugary stuff and walk a bit daily. The weight comes off after delivery, focus on a healthy baby first.
This trimester the goal is steady healthy weight, not weight loss. Best to speak to your gynac about your numbers because everyone's healthy gain is different. They might just suggest cleaner eating and light activity rather than losing.
