My baby is 3 months now and i gained a lot during pregnancy that's just not going. None of my old clothes fit and i feel low about it. What did you do to get back in shape?
Breastfeeding actually burns a lot, that helped me without trying. Eat properly though, dont starve, you need energy for milk. Crash dieting is a bad idea right now. Slow and steady with good food and short walks worked for me.
Beta dont put pressure on yourself to lose it fast, it took 9 months to gain, give it time to go. Eat nourishing food, stay active in small ways, sleep when baby sleeps. It will come off, dont compare with anyone.
From what I read, walking is the safest start postpartum, then gentle yoga and core only after your doctor clears you, usually around 6 weeks or later for C-section. No crash diets. Consistency beats quick, your body is recovering.
Realistically there is no quick fix and your body just went through a lot. I started with 15 min walks, cut out the extra fried snacks, and got back to routine when I could. Once your doctor clears you, add light exercise. Be kind to yourself.
Im 4 months postpartum and honestly please dont rush the quickly part. Your body needs to heal first. I just focused on home food, lots of water and small walks. The weight started coming off slowly on its own, especially with feeding.
After my C-section I couldnt do anything strenuous for a while and that was okay. I waited for my doctors go ahead, then started gentle core work. Forcing it too soon can hurt your stitches. Healthy eating did most of the work early on.
