How to lower blood pressure naturally during pregnancy?
My bp was slightly on higher side at last checkup and doc is keeping an eye on it. I dont want it to get worse. Are there small things in diet or lifestyle that helped anyone here?
Cutting down salt, gentle walking if doc allows, enough sleep and less stress all help generally. But if your BP is actually high, that needs medical monitoring yaar, not just home stuff. Get it tracked properly.
My doctor told me to reduce salt, stay hydrated, rest on my left side and avoid stress. She was strict that BP in pregnancy must be checked regularly though, because high readings can affect both mom and baby.
I had BP issues in pregnancy so pls be careful here. Natural things like less salt, rest and staying calm help a bit, but high BP in pregnancy is serious. Dont manage it alone, keep your gynac in the loop always.
My MIL kept telling me to rest more and not take tension, which honestly did help. But amma also reminded me high BP needs the doctor, not just gharelu nuskhe. So we did both, rest plus regular checkups.
Light walking and some breathing relaxation helped me feel calmer, but only after my doc cleared me. Pair it with low salt food. Still, BP isnt something to handle just naturally, regular checks are a must.
