My bp came a bit on the higher side at my last checkup and the gynac has asked me to monitor it. Im a little worried honestly, im 28 weeks. Apart from what doc says, did anyone manage it with food or rest? Pls share.
Take a breath, but also take this seriously and call your doctor. If you ever get severe headache, blurred vision or sudden swelling, go in right away. Meanwhile rest, watch your salt and keep your check ups regular, they will guide you well.
My doctor said for high BP they watch it carefully and it can sometimes signal pre eclampsia, so monitoring is key. She asked me to cut down salt, rest on my left side, stay hydrated and report headaches or swelling. Definitely a doctor-managed thing, not home remedy.
High BP in pregnancy is not something to handle alone, get to your doctor. Lifestyle wise, less salt, proper rest and stress kam karo helps a bit. But medicines and the real plan must come from your gynac only.
Please dont take high BP lightly in pregnancy, this is one thing you must manage with your doctor closely. I had raised BP and they monitored me regularly, it needs proper care. Call your gynac soon and follow exactly what they say.
I wont give big advice on this since BP can be serious. What my doctor told me was reduce salt, rest more, and never miss the checkups. But honestly please get your own gynac to guide, dont rely on general tips here.
BP control in pregnancy really needs medical supervision, so doctor advice is best here. Along with that, reducing salt, gentle rest and avoiding stress can support. Keep a home BP machine if your gynac suggests, so you can track.
