My fasting sugar came a bit high in the test this week and my gynac wants me to control it with diet first. Im in my 6th month and honestly clueless what to change in my food. Anyone managed to bring it down naturally, pls share what worked for u.
I managed my GD mostly with diet, cutting sugar and refined carbs and eating small frequent meals. A short walk after meals brought my readings down nicely. But please go strictly by your doctor's plan, mine adjusted things based on my sugar charts.
Walking after meals really helped my numbers once my gynac allowed it. I also swapped white rice for smaller portions with more veggies and protein. Consistency mattered more than anything drastic.
Diet and light activity are the base, but sugar in pregnancy needs proper monitoring. Please dont self manage it, your doctor may need to step in if diet isnt enough. Regular checks are key.
