My readings keep going up and down at every checkup and the doc has asked me to keep an eye on it. Im a bit tense honestly. What all did you all do to keep your BP stable, like diet or lifestyle wise? pls share ur experience.
Eat fresh home food, less salt, rest well and try to stay relaxed beta. And dont skip your regular checkups, that is how the doctor keeps an eye on your BP. If anything feels off, tell them right away.
I had to keep a close watch on things during my pregnancy and regular checkups were the key. For BP my doctor stressed not skipping appointments so any change is caught early. Keep your salt in check, stay hydrated, rest, and dont miss your gynac visits.
Few simple things helped me, less salty and processed food, enough water, decent sleep and not stressing too much. If your doctor allowed walking, that helps too. But if BP runs high or low, that needs the doctor managing it, not just home tips.
I had BP issues in my pregnancy so I will say this clearly, dont just rely on lifestyle if your readings are off. I had to be monitored closely. Watch for headaches, swelling, blurred vision and report them. A home BP monitor plus regular doctor checks made the difference for me.
Gentle daily walks helped keep mine steady, but only after my gynac cleared me for it. Also some calm breathing for stress. Avoid the very salty snacks na, those bumped my readings. Always check with your doctor before starting any activity though.
