Delivered my baby 2 months back and feeling a bit low looking at my old clothes na. I dont want crash diets, just realistic ways to slowly get back in shape with a newborn. What worked for you mamas?
Once ur doctor gives the green signal, slow walks and light postnatal yoga really help. I didnt do anything heavy in the first months. Patience is the key, results come slowly but they come.
With baby and work I had zero time for gym, so I just did short stretches at home and ate simple home food. Small consistent habits worked better for me than big plans. Dont stress about getting back fast.
After my C-section I didnt rush at all, the doctor said let the body heal first. I started with very gentle walking after she allowed it, around 6 weeks. Be kind to urself, the body went through a lot.
Give ur body time, it took 9 months to change, it needs time to come back too. Eat well, sleep when baby sleeps, and dont compare with anyone. You are doing great.
Honestly breastfeeding itself helped me shed some weight naturally, and I focused on eating healthy instead of crash dieting. Eating well keeps ur milk supply good too. Dont starve urself yaar, ur body needs fuel right now.
