My scan mentioned cervical length and the doctor said we will monitor it. Since then I am scared to move around too much. Anyone here had cervical length watched during pregnancy?
Beta the best thing you can do is rest as advised and keep all your scan appointments. Your doctor keeps an eye on this and steps in if needed. Dont stress, just follow them properly.
Cervical length is really managed by your gynac, not by home methods. In my case they monitored it on scans and advised rest. Please follow your doctors plan closely, this is one thing not to experiment with.
I dealt with a short cervix and I will gently say lean fully on your doctor for this. They guided me on rest and regular monitoring. Take it seriously but dont panic, it can be managed well when watched. Hugs.
There is no real DIY for this honestly. Regular scans, avoiding heavy strain and following whatever your gynac advises is the way. Each case is different so let your doctor steer it.
My doctor explained you cant exactly increase length, but they watch it and if its short they may suggest rest, progesterone or sometimes a stitch (cerclage). Avoiding heavy lifting and strain was advised to me. Definitely a doctor guided thing.
