My skin has gone so dull and dry ever since the pregnancy started, third trimester now. Not sure which products are safe to use these days. Would love to know what worked for you ladies.
My mother always said hydrate from inside, eat fruits and drink water. I used coconut oil at night. Keep it gentle, pregnancy skin is sensitive. For any rash or itching, do tell doc.
Sunscreen daily is the big one, pregnancy can cause those dark patches on face (melasma). My app kept reminding me. Avoid retinol and strong acids, check labels and ask doc if unsure.
You dont need expensive stuff yaar. Plain coconut or almond oil for the belly, a normal moisturiser, and drinking water. That's literally all I did and skin was fine.
Lots of water and a little walk for circulation made my skin look better honestly. Plus a basic moisturiser. Nothing fancy needed. For the belly I used plain oil to keep it soft.
I just kept it simple, gentle cleanser and a good moisturiser morning and night. I felt my skin got drier so I drank more water too. Less is more honestly, my skin was happiest when I stopped trying so many products.
