Okay this might sound silly but my MIL keeps telling me to eat saffron and coconut so baby comes out fair. Is there actually anything to this or just a myth? Curious what u all think.
After going through so many trials to get my baby, I realized that skin color doesn't matter at all. A healthy, happy baby is the biggest blessing we can ask for. Please don't stress about these things and enjoy your beautiful journey.
Honestly, baby's color is totally decided by genetics at the time of conception only. Saffron milk or coconut water can give you good energy and hydration, but they wont change skin color. Just focus on a healthy baby, that is what matters most.
In my experience, I drank lots of coconut water and saffron milk during my pregnancy because everyone ghar pe insisted. But my baby took after her dad's dusky complexion anyway. It's all about family genes, so just eat well and don't worry.
My MIL keeps telling me to drink milk with kesar so the baby is fair, but I think the baby will just look like us only na! Honestly, at this point in my 3rd trimester, I just want the baby to come out safely so I can sleep on my stomach again.
I also see so many people recommending coconut water and oranges for a fair baby. Is there actually any truth to this, or is it just old family stories? I'm just curious because everyone in my family has different opinions on this.
