My MIL keeps saying jeera water is good for digestion and bloating, and im struggling thoda with gas these days. But i dont know the right way to make it, kitna jeera and how much water? Anyone make it daily during pregnancy?
Just boil normal kitchen jeera in water, no need to buy expensive fancy herbal teas that stores advertise. We need to save every penny for those upcoming hospital charges and delivery tests anyway.
It is super simple yaar. Actually just boil one spoon of jeera in water for 5 mins, let it cool down slightly and strain it. It really helps with that annoying morning acidity!
Please check with your doctor first, even normal kitchen things can sometimes react differently! I used to get so scared of herbal drinks. I only boiled a tiny pinch of jeera in lots of water, filtered it twice, and drank very little to be safe.
No need of fancy methods, just boil a glass of water with one spoon jeera in it in the morning. Let it cool, strain it and drink. It's a cheap and easy ghar ka nuskha for gas.
Oh jeera water is a life saver! I boil it with a tiny bit of black salt sometimes because my cravings are all over the place and I need taste in everything. It keeps heartburn away so I can enjoy my mild meals!
For me, bloating was bad, so I boiled jeera water to sip on. I also made sure to do my 20 mins light walk after consulting my gynac, which also really helped with digestion along with this water.
Listen, don't overcomplicate it. Just take a glass of water, boil a teaspoon of cumin seeds in it, let it sit for a bit, then drink it lukewarm. Simple and effective for bloating.
