Just found out im 6 weeks and honestly thoda nervous hu, the nausea and tiredness is too much. First time mom here so no idea what to expect. How did u all manage these early weeks?
Key thing is rest and hydration. Don't skip your prenatal vitamins, especially folic acid. If nausea is really bad, ask your gynac about B6 supplements or anti-emetics. Small, bland meals usually help.
Just keep faith and stay positive, dear. This is a blessing. Listen to your elders, eat sattvic food, and do light meditation. The most important thing is to take care of yourself with love and prayer.
Honestly, I'm still in my first trimester right now, and the exhaustion is crazy! I'm trying to nap whenever I can and eat small, frequent meals. Does anyone else get super sensitive to smells suddenly?
Oh my god, I felt like I was constantly just trying to get through the day in my first trimester. The nausea was real, and the fatigue was something else. Just know it gets better, and it's okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes. You're doing great.
For me, managing food was super critical, especially after my gestational diabetes diagnosis later. Even in the first trimester, try to focus on balanced meals, lots of protein, and complex carbs. Avoid sugary snacks, they make nausea worse sometimes and aren't good for sugar levels.
In our ghar pe, MIL always made sure I had lots of dry fruits early in the morning for energy, and she avoided giving me anything too oily or spicy. She said it keeps the stomach settled. And definitely no heavy work, only rest.
This is exactly what I'm trying to prepare for! All these tips are so helpful. I'm wondering how everyone handled the food cravings or aversions? Did you manage to keep up with your normal routine much?
Please, please be extra gentle with yourself. Don't lift heavy things, take all your prescribed meds, and report any spotting or pain to your doctor immediately. Better safe than sorry, always. Take care.
Manage? More like survive! 😂 Kidding, but seriously, it's mostly about listening to your body. Sleep whenever you can, eat what stays down, and let your partner pamper you. You're growing a human, you deserve all the naps!
Beta, pehla trimester thoda mushkil hota hai, haan. Bas aram karna, jyada uthana nahi. Jo khane ka mann kare thoda-thoda khana. Aur apne doctor se sab poochte rehna, unki baat sunna.
