My BP came a little high at my last checkup and doc has asked me to keep monitoring it. Honestly thoda tension ho gaya hai. For those who had high BP, what helped u manage it day to day?
My MIL would make sure I didn't take any stress and ate low-salt ghar ka khana, which helps. But high BP is very serious during pregnancy, so we always kept a digital monitor at home. Please check with your gynac regularly to keep it under control.
High BP is something you should never ignore or try to manage purely at home. Cut down on salt, take proper rest, and most importantly, stay in touch with your gynac. They might need to put u on safe BP medication to protect you and the baby.
Please don't take any stress as it can raise your BP even more. Rest as much as possible and keep your doctor updated about your readings. Take care of yourself, hoping everything goes smoothly.
Managing BP needs a very careful lifestyle, but please only do light walking or gentle yoga if your doctor has allowed it. High BP needs close medical monitoring. Keep tracking your readings and strictly follow your doctor's advice on medications.
When I was staying with my parents, they kept a very peaceful environment and gave me simple, home-cooked food with less salt. My father used to check my BP daily because my doctor warned us to be very careful. Definitely consult your doctor if the readings are high.
