One minute im fine, next im crying over something silly or snapping at my husband for no reason. Im 16 weeks and these mood swings are exhausting me. How did u all handle this, any small things that helped calm down?
Dont be hard on yourself yaar, one minute laughing next minute crying is just pregnancy life. Vent to a friend, watch something nice, eat your favourite snack. It all settles, dont stress too much.
Some quiet time, a little prayer or just deep breathing kept me grounded during the emotional ups and downs. Be gentle with yourself, you are doing something big. It will balance out, stay positive.
Mood swings hit me hard in both pregnancies honestly. What helped was enough sleep, eating on time and not bottling things up. I told my husband to just go easy on me, and that itself reduced half the tension.
First, please know mood swings are totally normal and not your fault, the hormones are intense. I cried over the smallest things and felt guilty, but it passes. Talk to someone you trust, rest well, and if it ever feels too heavy, do mention it to your gynac.
