Im 8 weeks and the nausea is hitting me all day, not just mornings like the name says. Cant even keep my morning chai down properly. What worked for you guys to feel a bit better?
Oh I went through this so bad, I feel u. What helped me was eating small bits often instead of big meals, keeping dry biscuits or murmura by my bed for the morning, and sipping ginger water. An empty stomach made it worse for me.
With a job it was tough, so I kept easy snacks in my bag, biscuits, nuts, lemon candy. Ate something small every 2 hours. Avoided going out hungry. Mornings I'd nibble a biscuit before even getting up. Small hacks got me through the day.
My amma told me to keep curd rice and lemon rasam handy, light and soothing, and it really helped my queasiness. Cold buttermilk too. Try gentle home food and rest. If its very severe though, do let ur doctor know, ok.
Beta in our home we always gave a little ginger or saunf to chew, and dry roti or toast first thing in morning. Lemon water also helps. These small things settle the stomach. But if vomiting is too much, show the doctor, dont just bear it.
The home tricks like ginger, small meals and rest help most of us. But please watch out, if u cant keep any food or water down, feel dizzy or are losing weight, see ur gynac soon. Severe vomiting needs treatment, dont tough it out alone.
Small frequent meals are the trick, never let ur stomach get empty. Lemon, ginger, cold things worked for me. Avoid oily and strong smelling food. If ur vomiting so much that u cant keep water down, do call ur doctor, thats not normal.
