My baby is 4 months now and honestly the weight is just not going down yaar. I dont get time to exercise with the little one, and I'm still breastfeeding so scared of crash dieting. How did u all manage it postpartum?
Oh God, even I keep thinking about this everyday. I am in my 7th month and already worrying if I can ever fit back into my pre-pregnancy jeans. Do you think breastfeeding actually helps in losing weight like everyone says?
Honestly even I am super stressed about this all the time. What if we stretch too much and damage our body or what if dieting reduces milk supply? Please start very slowly and ask your gynac first before doing anything, don't take any risk.
It is totally natural to feel so overwhelmed about your body changing so much. I remember feeling so lost and anxious about my weight when I was pregnant. Just focus on your mental health first, physical healing will follow slowly.
Weight loss will happen eventually na, right now I can only think of what delicious things to eat after delivery. Don't stress too much about numbers, just enjoy the ghar ka ghee and healthy laddoos for now, you need the strength!
Please give yourself some grace, your body literally grew a whole human being inside! It took me almost 9 months to feel okay with my stretch marks and weight. Just hug your baby and take it one day at a time, you are doing amazing.
When I came back from hospital, I felt so crying seeing my tummy still looking 5 months pregnant. But slowly with light walks and home food, my body started feeling like mine again. It's a very emotional journey but trust the process.
I totally understand how hard it is to look in the mirror sometimes after having a baby. Your body has done something so beautiful, so please be kind to yourself. The weight will go eventually, just cuddle your little one and enjoy this phase.
