We are trying since 2 months and i really want to understand when exactly i might have conceived if it works out. My cycles are around 30 days. How do u all figure out the actual conceiving day, is it from period date or something else?
My doctor explained that conception usually happens around ovulation, roughly mid cycle, but they actually date pregnancy from the first day of your last period. So the dates can feel confusing but the gynac calculates it for you.
You count from the first day of your last period, that is how due dates and weeks are calculated. The exact conception day is hard to pin, the dating scan sorts it out.
I used an ovulation tracker app and it estimated my fertile window and likely conception day. It is just an estimate though, the scan dating from the doctor is the accurate one na.
