As my pet is growing the sujood and bending part is getting really hard for me. I dont want to miss my namaz but body is not cooperating. How do you all manage it in later months?
You can absolutely offer namaz while sitting on a chair if bending or prostrating causes you any discomfort. Islam makes things very easy for pregnant women, so listen to your body and pray comfortably.
I used to get so dizzy during ruku in my first trimester and panicked thinking I couldn't pray. But once I started sitting on a chair to pray, it felt so much better and totally normal.
My obstetrician at the hospital told me that bending is fine unless there is pain or spotting, but sitting is always safer if you feel tired. Do ask your doctor once during your next visit if you have any specific restrictions.
My elders told me to sit and pray if I felt weak, and my doctor also agreed that we shouldn't strain ourselves. You can sit on a chair or even on the floor with your legs stretched out if needed.
Bending down with a huge twin belly was next to impossible for me! I just used a comfortable chair for namaz. Don't make it hard on yourself, Allah knows your intentions!
