Im 39 weeks now and gynac said cervix is still closed, not dilated at all. Honestly thoda anxious ho rahi hu about how this works naturally. What helped you ladies?
For my normal delivery, simple active walking helped a lot in the final weeks. But honestly, your body knows exactly what to do when the time comes. Just stay active if your doctor permits, and let nature take its course.
Please don't try any home remedies or heavy physical tasks for this. Since I had thyroid, my doctor kept a close eye on my cervix progress during regular checkups. Regular follow-ups with your doctor are the safest way to monitor this.
I am also in my 38th week and wondering the same thing! My doctor hasn't said anything about cervix opening yet. Are you experiencing any pains or cramps?
Haha, I tried drinking warm milk, walking, and what not, but my baby refused to come out till the last day! Honestly, there is no magic trick to force it. Just sleep while you can because once that cervix opens, sleepless nights begin!
Yaar, actually don't try anything weird on your own. The cervix opens naturally when the baby is ready. Just talk to your gynac, she will guide you best on what to do.
I did a lot of squats and gentle walking, but only after my doctor gave me the green light at 37 weeks. Please don't start any heavy exercises or prenatal yoga poses to open the cervix without asking your gynecologist first. Safety first!
