Im in my 6th month and my lower back is killing me, specially by evening after sitting at work whole day. Cant even bend properly now. What helped u ladies, any stretches or position that gives some relief?
Back pain is so normal once the belly grows. What helped me both times was a small pillow behind my lower back when sitting and sleeping on the side with a pillow between knees. Dont sit for long hours, get up and move thoda.
Mostly back pain is just the weight and posture, totally normal. But if it ever comes with fever, burning while peeing or low cramps, do tell your gynac, sometimes its a UTI not just back. Better to be safe.
My gynac told me gentle prenatal stretches and slow walking really ease back pain. I do the cat-cow stretch on the mat, feels so good. But ask your doc first before starting anything na, every pregnancy is different.
Sitting all day at desk made my back so bad. I started keeping a cushion and getting up every hour even for 2 min. Honestly that small thing changed everything for me.
Beta, in our time we used to do light warm compress on the back, not too hot. A warm (not hot) water bottle for few minutes helps relax the muscles. But if pain is sharp or shooting, please show your doctor, dont ignore.
