How to overcome chromosomal abnormalities in pregnancy?
My double marker came with slightly high risk and honestly im so scared right now. We are waiting for the next test but the wait is killing me. Has anyone gone through this, kya hua aage?
Let's be practical: you cannot change or fix chromosomal abnormalities once pregnancy has started. What you can do is go for proper screening tests like NIPT or amniocentesis if your doctor suggests them. Be proactive, get the regular scans done at a good diagnostic center, and discuss the reports with your gynac.
Chromosomal issues are genetic and unfortunately we can't 'cure' or overcome them during pregnancy. Because of my past complications, my doctor made me do tests like the double marker and NIPT early on. Please speak to a genetic counselor or your gynac to understand the medical options and screenings available.
Please dont search too much on the internet and stress yourself out, bacche. These things are decided at the time of conception and are completely out of our control. Talk to your gynac clearly, get the recommended anomaly scans done on time, and take one step at a time.
Ho na, hearing about this can be so scary for any mother. But actually, we cannot prevent or treat this on our own as it happens naturally. Just go for all your doctor appointments and get the dual marker scan done on time, haan na.
My hospital had a dedicated fetal medicine department, and they explained everything so clearly during our first trimester screening. If you have any doubts, please schedule a detailed consultation with your senior consultant. They can advise you on the exact diagnostic tests like CVS or amniocentesis for absolute clarity.
