How to overcome depression and anxiety during pregnancy?
Im in my second trimester and i should be happy but i just feel low and worried most days, crying over small things. I havent really opened up to anyone at ghar about it. How did you cope, did you talk to your doctor? feeling alone in this.
First of all, what you are feeling is real and you are not weak for it, I went through bad anxiety in my second trimester. Talking about it out loud helped me so much, I stopped bottling it up. Please dont feel you have to manage this alone, it really does get lighter when you share it.
Small daily routines really help, a little walk, sunlight, talking to a friend, decent sleep. But if the heaviness stays most days or feels too much, that is your sign to tell your gynac and ask for proper support. You deserve to feel okay through this.
This is something I would really encourage you to bring up with your gynac, depression in pregnancy is common and very treatable, nothing to be ashamed of. They can guide you to safe support or a counsellor. Please dont suffer quietly, reaching out is the strongest thing you can do.
Being around my mom during those months helped me more than anything, just having someone to talk to every day. If you can, stay close to people who comfort you. And do tell your doctor too, they take this seriously and can really help.
Some quiet time, prayer and small things that bring you peace can help calm the mind. But please also speak to your doctor about how you are feeling, this is not something to just push through alone. Take care of your heart, it matters as much as the rest.
I totally understand how heavy this feels, sending you so much love. Be gentle with yourself, rest, and lean on someone you trust to just listen. You are doing better than you think, honestly.
