Honestly, even I am planning right now and keep reading about these old wives' tales like baking soda test or belly shape! It is so fun to guess na. But medically it's not possible to know here in India and honestly we just want a healthy baby.
Look, all these symptom-based predictions are just 50-50 luck, nothing else. Medically there is no way to predict without scans which are strictly banned here anyway. Just focus on eating well and staying active, that's what actually matters.
I actually asked my gynac about those heart rate theories and Chinese charts because I did so much research online. She laughed and said they are 100% myths and have zero scientific backing. Plus gender determination is strictly illegal in India so no doctor will ever do it, best is to wait till delivery.
Please don't stress about all this gender prediction stuff, it really doesn't matter. I had severe complications in my pregnancy and realized only baby's health is important. If you feel any weird symptoms, just talk to your doctor instead of guessing stuff online.
