I think I am confused about intimate wash during pregnancy. There is more discharge now and I feel like cleaning again and again, but dont want to use anything wrong. What do you use for hygiene?
I'd be careful with intimate washes in pregnancy, some can disturb the natural balance. I stuck to water only and asked my gynac before trying anything. If there's any unusual discharge or burning, definitely get it checked.
Not fully sure what you mean, but for intimate hygiene most doctors say avoid douching and strong soaps in pregnancy. Just gentle water cleaning is best. If you have itching or discharge that's bothering you, ask your gynac before using any product.
If you mean intimate wash, plain warm water is honestly the safest and gynacs usually recommend just that during pregnancy. Avoid scented or harsh washes, they can irritate. Wash front to back and keep the area dry.
For washing down there warm water is more than enough during pregnancy, that's what my doctor said too. No need for chemical washes. Keep clean and dry, and if anything feels off just mention it at your checkup.
