Im really hoping for a normal delivery and im in my third trimester now. Want to start doing whatever i can from my side to make it smoother. What all did you do to prepare? pls share ur experience.
Beta, prepare your body with gentle movement and prepare your mind by staying calm. Fear tightens everything up. Do what your doctor advises and dont compare with others. You will be just fine.
I had a normal delivery and what helped me was staying gently active, regular walks and the breathing exercises my doctor showed me. Nothing fancy. But honestly a lot also depends on how things go on the day, so dont pressure yourself.
First, its okay to feel nervous about delivery, i was very anxious too. What helped me was breathing classes and talking openly with my doctor about my fears. A calm mind genuinely helped my body relax. Be kind to yourself in this.
Stay active, eat well, keep your weight in healthy range and dont let anyone fill your head with scary stories. Both my normal deliveries went fine. Walk daily, do your breathing, and trust your doctor on the day.
Along with walks and good food, i kept my mind peaceful and positive every day. Stay calm, take care of your body, and trust the process. A relaxed mom makes such a difference.
Daily walking and prenatal yoga really helped me build stamina, but i only did the poses my doctor and instructor cleared. Some squats and breathing work too. Movement keeps you ready, just dont push beyond what youre allowed.
My gynac suggested walking, pelvic floor exercises, good iron and protein in diet, and learning breathing techniques. She also said keep my hospital bag ready by 8th month and stay positive. She was clear though that safety of mom and baby comes first, even if plans change.
