Every night after dinner mera chest jalta hai and I cant even lie down properly. 7 months pregnant now and its getting worse. Did anything help u guys to prevent it? pls share.
Haan yaar, this acidity is literally the worst. I stopped eating heavy rajma or chole at night and shifted to light khichdi. Also, try sleeping with double pillows to keep your head elevated, quite helpful na.
Reflux is very uncomfortable but quite common. Just try to avoid oily and very spicy foods, and eat light. If it becomes too painful or makes you throw up blood, please reach out to your doctor immediately.
My MIL suggested having cold milk or buttermilk (chaas) to soothe the burning. I also asked my doctor and she advised not to lie down immediately after dinner. Eating small meals frequently really helped me.
Same here, the heartburn is killing me in my second trimester! Did anyone get safe antacid recommendations from their doctor? Currently, I'm just drinking coconut water which gives temporary relief.
With my desk job, sitting all day made reflux worse. I started taking short 5-minute walks after lunch and stopped eating spicy office canteen food. Keep a gap of 2 hours between your last meal and bedtime.
I logged my meals on my tracker app and realized citrus fruits and garlic were my triggers. Try to track what you eat and avoid lying flat. Keeping a food diary really helps in avoiding the wrong items.
I was so worried because the chest burning felt like a heart issue! But my gynac reassured me it’s just pregnancy hormones relaxing the food pipe. I started having cold milk in small sips, please try that but check with your doctor if it persists.
