My nephew has chickenpox and he stays close by, im 5 months along and now im scared of catching it. I never had chickenpox as a kid so im extra tense. How do i keep myself safe?
Pls talk to your gynac about this properly, chickenpox in pregnancy is something they take seriously. If you havent had it before or arent immune, your doc will guide you on what to do. Better to ask them than try anything on own.
Best is to check your immunity status with your doc, sometimes they test before or early in pregnancy. Avoid crowded sick situations and wash hands. Your gynac will advise the right thing for your case.
Main thing is avoid contact with anyone who has it, especially kids with it. If you get exposed, inform your doctor immediately because they can do something within a window. Dont panic but dont ignore it either.
