This is my first pregnancy and im honestly a bit anxious after hearing so many stories from relatives. Just want to do everything right and keep baby safe. What are the things you all focused on to stay healthy?
Since I had gestational diabetes I learnt how important regular monitoring is. Keeping my sugar in check and going for every appointment kept things smooth. Watch your diet, stay active if allowed, and never skip your tests.
My doctor always said the basics matter most, regular checkups, all the scans on time, eating well and taking your prescribed tablets. She also told me to never ignore warning signs like bleeding, severe headache or reduced baby movement. Catching things early is what prevents most problems.
Dont let this worry overwhelm you, most pregnancies go well with simple care. Eat home food, rest enough, take your supplements and go for all checkups. And always trust your doctor if anything feels wrong.
