Constipation has become such a daily struggle yaar since i hit second trimester, so uncomfortable. I dont want it to get worse. What do u all do to keep things moving, pls share what worked for you.
Yaar this was my biggest complaint too haha. Dont stress, just up ur water and fruits and move around a bit. If iron pills are the cause tell ur doc, they can switch it.
Fibre and water are ur best friends. Soaked overnight raisins or a few prunes in the morning did wonders for me. Also dont hold it in when u get the urge, go immediately.
I just drank lots of water and ate more fruits like papaya and lots of leafy veg. Walking a little after meals helped me also. Simple things but they worked sweetie.
My amma told me to eat a banana and some warm water first thing in morning. Also ragi and lots of veggies. It eased up nicely, but if it gets really stuck ask ur doctor before taking anything.
My iron tablets made it worse honestly so I told my doc and she adjusted things. Apart from that, oats for breakfast and staying active helped me a lot. Track ur water intake, it really adds up.
