These headaches are killing me yaar, almost daily in my first trimester and i dont wanna keep taking anything. Looking for safe ways to actually prevent them. What worked for u all?
Headaches are often due to dehydration or hormonal shifts. Keep drinking water and sleep well, but if they are frequent or very severe, please consult your doctor as high BP can also cause them.
Sometimes low blood sugar also triggers bad headaches, especially if you are managing GD. Eat small healthy snacks at regular intervals. But please check with your doctor if the pain is continuous.
Meri MIL ne mujhe badam milk pine ko bola tha and daily head massage thoda. Simple tension headaches are normal, par agar bilkul thik na ho toh bina doctor se puche koi painkiller mat lena please.
Try tracking your triggers - is it lack of sleep, skipping meals, or low water intake? Have small meals and stay hydrated. But if the headache is severe and blurry vision is there, call your gynac immediately.
Ghee massage on head and plenty of water is my secret weapon! Pregnancy headaches are no joke, feels like a mini DJ in the brain. But jokes apart, if it's too bad, please check with your doctor first.
Honestly, I never take headaches lightly in pregnancy because it can sometimes be related to blood pressure issues. Please consult your gynac before trying any home remedies or taking medicines.
