How to prevent low blood pressure during pregnancy?
My bp keeps going low and i feel dizzy when i stand up fast, almost felt like fainting once. Im in second tri now. Any tips on what helped you keep it stable?
Beta, low BP can make you feel weak, so it's important to take care. Drink lots of water, like really lots, and don't stand for too long. When you get up from bed or a chair, do it slowly. Also, small meals frequently are better than big ones. Just rest whenever you feel tired, okay?
Low BP is quite common in pregnancy, especially in the second trimester, as your blood volume expands. Key things are staying well-hydrated, increasing your salt intake slightly (if cleared by your doc), avoiding prolonged standing, and getting up slowly from lying or sitting. Also, wear compression stockings if advised.
I remember those dizzy spells, they were so scary sometimes! It's your body working so hard for your little one, so sometimes BP can dip. My doctor emphasized drinking plenty of water and eating small, frequent meals. Please be gentle with yourself and don't push too hard, rest when needed.
Haan low BP toh bohot common hai pregnancy mein. Mere saath bhi hua tha. Pani khoob peeo, juice bhi piyo. Aur namak thoda zyada khaana chalta hai, doctor ne bola tha. Bas aaraam se uthna baithna, fatak se nahi, na. Dhyan rakho apna.
Oh, I'm in my second trimester too and sometimes I feel a bit lightheaded, is that low BP? I get so worried. My doctor said to stay super hydrated and not stand up too fast. Did anyone else feel this way and what helped you, ya? I want to make sure I'm doing everything right.
