How to prevent pigmentation on face during pregnancy?
Im in my 5th month and noticing dark patches coming on my cheeks and forehead. Never had this before pregnancy. Is there anything safe i can do to stop it from getting worse? pls share what helped u.
Sweetheart, it's called the mask of pregnancy sometimes, and it's super common because of the hormones. Don't worry too much. Just be diligent with sunscreen, use a gentle cleanser, and try to stay out of the harsh midday sun. Most of it will fade after delivery, so be patient with your beautiful body.
Oh, the pregnancy glow... and the pregnancy spots, right? I had quite a bit of pigmentation, and it made me feel a bit conscious sometimes. Just remember, your body is doing an amazing job growing a human, and these things are often temporary. Be kind to yourself, and good sunscreen is your best friend.
Protecting your skin from the sun is super important, especially during pregnancy. I made sure to wear a wide-brimmed hat and use a high SPF sunscreen whenever I went out for my walks, which my doctor said was fine. Staying hydrated also helps your skin generally.
Look, pigmentation happens due to hormonal changes, so you can't completely 'prevent' it. But you can manage it. Use a good mineral sunscreen (SPF 30+), reapply it. Wear hats. Avoid direct sun. After delivery, many spots fade on their own. Don't stress too much.
Arre haan, ye pigmentation toh bahut common hai pregnancy mein. Melasma kehte hain na? Sabse best hai ki sun se bacho. Achha wala sunscreen lagaao daily, even ghar pe bhi. Aur haan, ek good quality vitamin C serum bhi try kar sakti ho, par doc se puch ke.
