How to prevent stretch marks during pregnancy home remedies?
Im just into my second trimester and my belly is starting to grow. My sister got a lot of stretch marks and im hoping to avoid them if possible. Looking for natural ghar ke nuskhe that worked for you all, oils or anything. pls share.
I felt so conscious about my belly stretching. I massaged coconut oil twice a day from like 4th month, kept the skin soft. Got a few marks anyway honestly, but they faded a lot after delivery. Genes play a part too.
I stuck to natural stuff, coconut oil and shea butter, applied right after shower when skin is damp, absorbs better. Aloe vera gel also felt soothing. For any unusual rash or itching though, get it checked, dont just home remedy that.
Truth is you cant always fully prevent them, lot depends on skin type and how much you stretch. But regular oiling helps with the itching and keeps skin supple. I used almond oil with both pregnancies, did help somewhat.
My paati told me to massage gently with coconut oil daily and not to scratch when it itches. Worked okay for me. Staying hydrated also helps the skin. But she always added, doctor knows best for anything beyond this.
Honestly skip the expensive stretch mark creams, they're overpriced. Plain coconut or mustard oil from the kitchen does the same moisturising job. Save that money for baby stuff instead. Marks fade with time anyway.
Beta in our family we always used plain coconut oil or malai mixed with a bit of oil to massage the tummy. Keep skin moisturised and drink water. These are gentle home things, but if skin feels itchy a lot do tell your doctor.
