My BP keeps coming low this whole pregnancy and i feel dizzy and weak by evening. Im 22 weeks. Will discuss with my gynac also but wanted to know what others did to manage low bp safely?
If your BP is running low, try drinking plenty of water, ORS, or coconut water throughout the day. Also, avoid standing up too quickly from your bed or chair. If you feel dizzy, please contact your gynac immediately.
Low BP is common, but don't ignore it if you feel faint at work. Keep a bottle of salted lemonade or electoral on your desk and sip it. But make sure to mention this in your next doctor's visit to get proper advice.
I had low BP in my 2nd trimester and my doctor actually told me to eat slightly saltier snacks like nimbu paani with black salt or some salted Makhana! It was the perfect excuse for my savory cravings, but do check with your doc first.
