Hi, I just took a home pregnancy test, but I'm not entirely sure how to interpret the results. Can someone explain how to properly read a pregnancy test? What do the lines mean?
Its actually very simple, check for the control line first to know if the kit works, and then see if the test line shows up. I got my double lines last year and had a C-section recovery recently which was hard but totally worth it. Just make sure you do it first thing in the morning for correct results.
Oh god, this takes me back to when my little one was a tiny dot, now he is a toddler running everywhere! Just pee on the stick or use a clean cup to dip it, and don't read it after 10 mins as a false line can show up. Even a super faint second line is a positive, same thing happened to me.
So basically, one line means negative and two lines means positive. Try to test with your first morning pee because the hormone level is highest then. I had my normal delivery back in January, and honestly, the test day was the start of the most amazing journey!
Honestly, just take a deep breath and trust whatever God has planned for u. When you take the test, wait for exactly 3-5 mins like the box says. If there are two lines, even a very faint pink one, it is positive. Take care of yourself dear, good news will come.
Look, dont read the test after 10-15 minutes because then evaporation lines can confuse you. Just check it within the time limit written on the pack, usually 3 to 5 minutes. If it is blank or only has one line, wait a couple of days and try again if your periods are missed.
