I bought some pregnancy test strips, but I'm a bit confused about how to read the results properly. Can someone explain how to interpret the lines on these strips?
I remember squinting at my strip while feeling so nauseous in the morning! Basically, one dark line is negative, and two lines, even if light pink, means congratulations u are pregnant.
Once u see those two lines, make sure to visit your doctor. I had thyroid issues, so early blood tests and doctor follow-up were very important for me after reading the positive strip.
I felt my heart beating in my throat when I did it. I saw a very light second line first and thought it was negative, but then I realized any second line means positive.
Reading those lines can be so emotional and nerve-wracking. Just look for the second line after 3-5 minutes, and if you see even a faint shadow, it is a good sign. Sending u so much strength.
Oh that moment of holding the strip is so special and scary. Two lines means you are holding your future in your hands. Take a deep breath, whatever the result, you are doing great.
My doctor told me that the control line must always appear, otherwise the test is invalid. The second line is the test line which shows if hCG is there, even if it is faint.
Beti, read it within 5 minutes only, don't look at it after hours because it gets dried up and shows a fake second line. Drink some warm ginger water to keep calm and try testing again with morning's first urine.
It feels like yesterday I was staring at those tiny strips, and now my toddler is running around! One line is negative, two lines is positive, don't overcomplicate it.
