I took a home test today and there is one dark line and one very faint shadow. I am not able to understand if it counts or not. Should I repeat after some time?
My gynac told me morning urine gives the clearest result because hcg is more concentrated then. The control line C must always show, if only T shows or none, the test failed. Faint T line, retest after 2 days.
Mine was super faint first time and i panicked thinking its wrong. Tested again after 3 days and the line was dark. So if its faint dont lose hope, just wait and check again.
Follow the packet directions, usually one line is control and second is the result. But honestly the surest way is a beta hcg blood test at the lab, kits can sometimes be misread.
I read the instruction paper inside the box like 5 times lol. Did anyone else get confused with the faint line? For me confirming with a blood test gave peace of mind.
Two lines means positive, one line means negative, simple. Even a faint second line counts as positive usually. Read it within the time on the packet, leaving it too long can show evaporation lines.
