My delivery was 5 months ago and my tummy still looks pregnant sometimes. Relatives keep commenting and it makes me feel low, honestly thoda hurt hota hai. What helped you reduce belly slowly after delivery?
Yaar dont be hard on urself, ur body just made a whole human. Slow walks, good food, enough water and patience. It comes back, just dont stress too much over it.
Realistically u wont have time for gym with a newborn, so I just walked, ate clean and cut the late night snacking. It came off slowly over months. Dont stress about it too fast.
Feeding actually helped me a lot, the belly reduced on its own bit by bit. Eat proper meals dont starve, ur body needs it for milk. The tummy will settle with time na.
When my gynac allowed I did some postnatal yoga and it really helped with the core and posture. But wait for that green signal first, esp the tummy muscles need time to heal.
After my c section I couldnt do anything for a while and that bugged me. Once doc cleared me I started gentle walks and some light core stuff slowly. Dont start ab workouts before ur doctor says ok, specially after c section.
