I had some extra belly fat even before getting pregnant and now it feels more. I know baby weight is different but im talking about the actual fat. is it even safe to try anything during pregnancy or should i just leave it for after?
Yaar u cant really reduce belly during pregnancy, thats ur baby growing in there. Dieting now is a no. Just eat healthy, dont binge on junk, and stay a bit active, weight gain in pregnancy is normal and needed.
Reducing belly isnt the goal during pregnancy, but eating balanced is. I controlled portions and cut sugary stuff bcoz of my sugar, that kept gain healthy without dieting. Let ur doctor set ur target weight.
Instead of trying to reduce belly, I keep myself active with doctor approved walks and prenatal yoga so I dont gain extra fat elsewhere. The bump itself u cant and shouldnt shrink. Ask ur doc which exercises suit u.
Don't go after the belly now babe, baby lives there. The whole losing weight thing is for after delivery. Right now just eat well and rest, ur body is doing amazing work.
This is a common confusion, the belly is supposed to grow, its not fat to remove. Focus should be on healthy eating, not weight loss. Your gynac will tell u the right weight gain range for u, follow that.
