How to reduce blood pressure in pregnancy naturally?
My bp was slightly on the higher side at my last checkup and doc said to keep an eye on it. i'm 30 weeks and want to manage it with diet and lifestyle as much as i can. what worked for you all naturally?
I had high BP towards the end and it can get serious fast, so please keep your doctor in the loop. Natural things like rest, less salt and staying calm can help support, but they are not a replacement for proper medical checkups. If you ever get headache, swelling or blurry vision, go in immediately.
I focused on home cooked low salt food, lots of water and cutting down on processed stuff. Reducing my stress and getting good sleep helped naturally. But honestly for BP you must let the gynac track it, don't rely only on home tips for something this important.
BP in pregnancy is something you really shouldn't manage on your own, I learned that the hard way with my thyroid follow-ups. Regular monitoring with your gynac is a must. Along with that my doctor allowed reduced salt and light walking, but only after she cleared it.
My doctor told me gentle walking and some breathing pranayam helped keep my BP steady. I never did anything strenuous and always checked with her first. Stress less and sleep well, that actually made a real difference for me.
Try to keep your mind calm and stress low, that genuinely helps the body, beta. Eat simple home food, rest properly and avoid tension as much as you can. And please stay in touch with your doctor, never skip those BP checks.
When my numbers were off, my doctor gave me a proper diet plan instead of me guessing. For BP too I would say be careful with food advice from random sources. Cut excess salt, eat fresh and balanced, but get a tailored plan from your gynac.
