This burning in chest is troubling me mostly after dinner and when I lie down. I am in second trimester and even simple dal rice is causing acidity some days. What helped you manage it without panic?
Beta cold milk or thoda saunf after meals used to soothe me. Eat slowly and less at one time. But if the burning is too much or constant, do tell your doctor, don't suffer quietly.
I had to watch food closely so I went for small bland meals and it eased the burn too. Avoid fried and very spicy stuff. For any tablet definitely check with doctor, some antacids she'll prefer over others.
I kept a bottle of cold water and some plain biscuits at my desk and ate little little through the day instead of big lunch. Avoided coffee. Made the chest burn way more bearable while working.
Yaar that acidity in pregnancy is the worst honestly. Cold milk, smaller meals, sleep propped up. It got way better for me in time, don't stress, it's super common.
Coconut water and small frequent meals helped me a lot, my amma's tip. Avoid eating heavy at night. If nothing helps, ask your gynac, she can suggest a safe antacid for pregnancy.
Eat small meals instead of big ones, don't lie down right after eating, and skip oily spicy food. Extra pillow to keep head raised helps at night. This worked for me both times.
