Baby is 5 months now and my whole face looks so puffy in pics, especially cheeks and chin. Rest of body thoda kam ho raha hai but face is just not going. Anyone did something that actually worked? pls share.
I was literally crying looking in the mirror because my cheeks looked so big. But trust me, it is completely normal and mostly water retention. It started going down automatically after 4-5 months without me doing anything crazy.
Face fat is the least of my worries with twins running around, haha. Honestly, you don't need any special tricks, chasing babies keeps me on my toes. Just give it some time, your body has gone through so much so let it heal first.
After all the hormones and IVF injections, my face was so bloated too. But we fought so hard to bring this baby into the world, so please love your body. It will gradually go back to normal as your hormones balance out, just take care.
My little one is a toddler now and when I look back at my old photos, I laugh at how much I worried. That face puffiness goes away on its own once your postpartum hormones settle down. Please don't waste your energy on this right now, just sleep whenever u get time.
Honestly, I don't even have time to look in the mirror to see my face fat, I'm so sleep deprived! If I get 2 hours of continuous sleep, that is my weight loss plan for now. Don't worry, once the baby starts moving, we will lose it all anyway.
Yaar, honestly face fat is so annoying but it's actually mostly water retention. I also felt like a balloon initially but thoda walking and drinking lots of water helped. Don't go on any crazy diets now, breastfeed standardly and it will melt away.
I had severe preeclampsia and sudden facial swelling was actually a symptom of high BP for me. If your face fat or swelling came very suddenly, please check your BP once with the doc. If it's just normal post-pregnancy weight, then don't worry, it will go slowly.
After my previous loss, when I finally had my baby, I was just so thankful for her. The extra weight and round face didn't bother me much because my baby was safe in my arms. Please be gentle with your body, it did a beautiful thing.
My mother-in-law kept telling me to drink warm water with lemon every morning to reduce the face fat. But honestly, my gynac said it is just postpartum swelling and water retention, and it takes time to go. Just eat healthy home food and don't push yourself, it will reduce naturally in some months.
When I was staying with my parents, mummy used to make me light home-cooked meals and kept saying face chubby-ness is totally normal. It took around 6 months for my face to look like before. Pls don't stress about weight loss now, enjoy this phase with your little one.
