These headaches are killing me, almost daily since the start of my 2nd trimester. I dont want to keep popping tablets so looking for safe ways to get some relief. What helped you all, any home remedies?
Simple headaches usually ease with rest and hydration. But I will gently say, a severe headache with swelling or vision changes can be a BP warning. If it feels that intense, get it checked the same day.
I had headaches plus nausea, it was rough. What helped me, small frequent meals so sugar doesnt drop, cold compress on forehead, and proper sleep. Avoid long phone screen time, that made mine worse.
Working with a headache is the worst. I kept a water bottle on my desk, took short breaks from the screen, and ate a snack mid morning. Cut down on too much tea/coffee also. Helped me get through the day.
Most of my pregnancy headaches were from dehydration and skipping meals honestly. Drink enough water, eat on time, rest your eyes, lie down in a dark quiet room. Dont pop any tablet without your doctor saying so.
For mild ones I used to rest in a dark room and sip water, sometimes a little fresh air helped. But if your headache is very strong, with blurry vision or swelling, please dont ignore it, call your gynac fast.
