My bp came slightly high at last checkup and gynac has asked me to monitor it. Im 28 weeks and honestly a little scared because i keep reading about it. Apart from medicines what helped u keep it in control?
High BP in pregnancy can need proper medical watching, so i wouldnt rely on just diet. That said, low salt food, enough rest and reducing stress helped me a bit. But always go by what ur doctor advises.
Try to keep ur mind calm, stress raises BP a lot. Some quiet time, prayer or deep breathing helped me feel better. But do keep ur doctor in the loop, take care of urself well.
Lifestyle helps but pregnancy hypertension really needs doctor supervision. Stay hydrated, rest on ur left side, manage stress. Most important is regular monitoring so ur gynac can act early if needed.
I had BP issues in my pregnancy and it is something to take seriously. Please dont try to manage it only with home tips, ur gynac needs to monitor it closely. Regular BP checks and the meds they give are really important.
Cut down on salt and packaged salty food, take proper rest and dont skip ur checkups. My doc also told me to track BP at home. If readings stay high, inform gynac fast, dont ignore it.
