How to reduce morning sickness in early pregnancy?
Im around 7 weeks and the nausea is killing me, mostly subah subah but honestly it stays whole day. Cant even keep water down sometimes. What worked for u all to feel thoda better? pls share
Beta, early morning me thoda sa bhuna hua jeera powder or thodi mishri chaba liya karo, acidity me bahut aaram milta hai. Sookha chana bhi chaba sakti ho. Himmat rakho, ye thode din ki baat hai.
I used to worry so much that my baby isn't getting enough nutrition because of my constant vomiting. But actually the doctor told me babies take what they need in early weeks. Just try to stay hydrated, and if you feel too dizzy, call your doctor right away to be safe.
Everyone's body is different, so it is always safest to talk to your gynac before trying any home remedies. Sometimes they can give a simple safe tablet to control the puking so you can eat. Don't suffer silently, just ask your doctor once.
For me, thyroid fluctuations made morning sickness even worse. Please make sure you are getting your regular blood tests done as per your doctor's advice. If nausea is too severe and you can't keep water down, let your gynac know immediately.
Keep some ginger tea or cardamoms handy in your purse. Acidity can trigger the vomiting feeling, so try not to keep your stomach empty for too long. Small meals every two hours is the best trick that worked for me.
Try having a dry biscuit or rusk as soon as u wake up, even before leaving the bed. It really helps to settle the empty stomach. Keep yourself hydrated with small sips of nimbu paani or coconut water throughout the day. It gets better soon, hang in there!
I know this phase feels never-ending, but trust me, it passes so fast. I used to feel so nauseous till the 14th week, but then suddenly it vanished. Just eat small portions of whatever u can digest, dont force yourself to eat heavy meals right now.
Sending you lots of strength. Just take deep breaths and rest as much as you can. Your body is doing amazing work, so please don't stress about eating perfectly right now.
Honestly, I am just planning my pregnancy right now and reading up on all this. My sister-in-law swear by ginger candies or sucking on a piece of lemon when they felt pukish. Does that actually work for everyone?
A light 10-minute walk in the fresh air in the morning helped me a lot with nausea, but please ask your doc first if it is safe for you. Gentle movement worked wonders for my digestion, but only do what your body and gynac allows.
Oh dear, morning sickness is the worst! 🤢 Try some chilled water with lemon slices, it worked like magic for me. Stay strong, this phase will soon turn into beautiful kicks! 💕
Listen, stop force-feeding yourself ghee and heavy parathas just because people tell you to. Stick to simple khichdi, curd rice, or whatever stays down. If it gets too bad, go to the doc and get a safe prescription, simple.
